Ribbed Edge Beanie Pattern
This simple beanie pattern is perfect for the beginning crocheter. Worked from the top down in rounds, the resulting hat fits the average adult head. The size can be increased using a larger crochet hook and decreased using a smaller crochet hook.
The stitch used is a half-double herringbone stitch, providing visual interest and texture. The ribbing is added at the end with no need for seaming!
